HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I hope you and your sweetheart enjoy the love songs I've posted onto my blog. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

The love song "Aubrey" is my wife's favorite and is dedicated to our daughter, Aubree! "And, how I miss the girl" since she married last August and is now living hundred of miles from home in another state.

Time passes too quickly, enjoy your loved ones while they're at your side.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration. Here at the Garbett home it was filled with laughter and singing as each of our five children, their spouses and our ten grandchildren gathered together to share this festive occasion. Believe me when I say there was never a dull moment. There was lots of laughter, food and really special moments with the sweet grandchildren. But now, it is hard for me to realize that Christmas has come and gone so quickly!

I would like to thank everyone who has commented to me either in person, by email, Facebook, or on my blog expressing how much you've enjoyed my music. Your positive comments are much appreciated. One of my musical goals this year is to record several of my favorite songs appropriate for the seasons and celebrations throughout the year and share them with you. I am currently compiling a list of my favorite love songs in celebration of Valentine's Day.
If you would like me to include some of your favorite love songs let me know so I can put them on the blog.

Again, wishing you the best of everything for this New Year!

"Christmas Time Is Here"

Every year around this time we cut our very own Christmas tree. This has been a tradition in our family for the past 34 years. Each year our children would take turns picking out the family Christmas tree. Now that our five children are grown with children of their own it’s been exciting to see them continue this same tradition in their families. What’s even more special is being included in their quest to find the “perfect” tree. This year Stacy, my oldest daughter, invited us to go with her family to the mountains to hunt for that special Christmas tree. It brought back memories watching my three grandsons, (ages five, three, and one year) hiking through the snow, eating snow and throwing snowballs at each other. It seemed like yesterday when my own children were doing the same. Time may pass, but Christmas and children remain the same.

I hope you enjoy the new additions to the Christmas list of songs that I love to play.

Merry Christmas!

-Brent
